You are INVITED to BICA's 4th Annual Fall Festival
Social Skills Group
3rd Saturday of Every Month
10 AM-12 PM
Groups will be led by a school psychologist and a certified special education teacher focusing on interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, responsibility, personal space awareness, body language, manners and friendship.
Groups will be center based for skill building. Application of skill will be demonstrated and supported in community based activities. A light snack will be provided.
Cost per session: $25, each session will have individualized supports. A plan will be created for each individual to support friendships, independence and interpersonal skills.
Teens C.A.N. Group
Confident Accepting Neighborly
A social group designed to encourage appropriate social skills for individuals from ages 11-20. Groups will be designed according to the likes and dislikes of the group. Targeted areas of instruction will be social skills, interpersonal relationships, reciprocal conversations, appropriate social skills with peers and in the community. Price per session: $15, this includes snack and activities. There may be additional costs depending on the outing.

Free art activities for kids of all ability levels!!
The group will be center based as well as providing positive and helpful support to our community.
Some of the outings we will be taking:
Tour of the Fire/Police Department
Feed My Starving Children
Volunteer work with outreach organizations
Each outing will have a purpose to serve our community and learn about each other. This group will support independence and expand appropriate social skills among peers and community.
We will have our 3rd Annual Chili Cook Off!! Ms. Amy is our current champion and 2 year holder of the BICA WISK!!! The competition is HOT and the chili is amazing!!! We are so excited to make this an annual tradition!!
